The Following will  be needed by Poison Control:

1.) Information from the poisonous product container. Again, You are urge to call Poison Control. Even if the container outlines instructions in case of poisoning. The information on the package may be outdated or Poison Control may have more specific treatment methods.

2.) The name, Address, And telephone number of the victim. Poison Control will also ask you how much the victim weighs.


¨ Syrup of ipecac, which causes vomiting should be part of the first aid kit in every home and day care facility. Syrup of ipecac is helpful in some cases of poisoning, but it should only be administered when prescribed by by a doctor or Poison Control Center. For some poison ingestion,  vomiting can cause significant harm. Therefore, do not administer syrup of ipecac unless your doctor or poison Control Center tells you to do so!
